CES Asia 2016 offers great visibility to WeSmart
WeSmart got a great turnout at CES Asia 2016, in Shanghai, (from 11-13th May), where the company had a beautiful stand! CES Asia serves as the premier event for the Asian consumer technology market. The WeSmart stand was part of the La FrenchTech pavilion, showcasing some of the most innovative companies present in China. Many professional visitors came to visit the WeSmart stand. From these many encounters we gained opportunities for networking, partnerships and launching exciting new projects. The team was absolutely thrilled and excited to be here!
On May 11th, the team was honoured to meet with Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), (the organising body for the CES trade shows), and the French Consul General in Shanghai Mr Axel Cruau, who congratulated WeSmart as a team bringing a “concrete solution to tackle climate change”. We were also happy to meet with Belgian consul Mr Mattias Debroyer. Our team was also interviewed for the French newspaper “Le Figaro”. http://video.lefigaro.fr/figaro/video/ces-asia-2016-quel-bilan-pour-la-french-tech/4895802548001/
On the morning of May 12th, WeSmart’s CEO François Bordes was invited to make a keynote speech in front of CES Asia visitors. It was a great experience to talk at CES Asia, the temple of consumer goods and connected devices, about how IOT data management can be used meaningfully for improving energy efficiency and air quality. He unveiled his vision of the convergence of energy industry and digital services and the ambition of WeSmart to be a platform for real-time IOT data management dedicated to energy and air quality management. He developed the company’s strategy to add more intelligence to the data through data analysis and machine learning, to provide customers with automatic insights and solutions. He was also interviewed by the media to tell the WeSmart story.
On the evening of May 12th, WeSmart was invited to a reception at the French consulate to celebrate the event, with other members of La FrenchTech.
During the 3 days at CES Asia, the team met with lots of visitors who asked many questions about WeSmart. Some of them already knew about the company, many others discovered the product for the first time and were intrigued, asking many questions about WeSmart platform features. Visitors had the opportunity to see a demo of the WeSmart platform in action, linked with energy or air quality sensors. It was great to meet with so many visitors and get so much positive feedback.
CES Asia is a rapidly growing event in Shanghai. Still smaller than its Las Vegas counterpart, it is gaining momentum quickly and there is a large room devoted to innovative companies like WeSmart.
Finally, to many visitors, WeSmart appeared as one of the most innovative companies present there, and a meaningful company with a purpose!
We thank all the many people who came to see us at CES Asia 2016 and the many partners who visited the stand!
